How to Report an Emergency

For police, fire and medical emergencies, please dial 911. If you believe that you have been exposed to biological, chemical or radiological agent, or if you believe an intentional threat will occur please contact local emergency responders by calling 911.

How to Get More Information During and After an Emergency

To get more information during and after an emergency, listen to your local television and radio broadcasts. If needed, contact local authorities such as the police, emergency management office, or health department. Please do not call a 911 or other emergency telephone line unless you need assistance with an immediate physical or medical emergency

The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) coordinates the county's response to natural or man made disasters. OEM personnel are rsponsible for the operations of the county's Emergency Operation Center (EOC) and work with local, state, and federal officials in shelter management, planning, resource management, and radiological response coordination.
